Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 5, 2026
The Kambo Project (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides holistic healing ceremonies and consultations, including Kambo, Hapé, and microdosing support. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website and our booking process, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact information — your name, email address, and phone number, provided when you book an alignment call, submit a booking request, or contact us.
- Scheduling information — the date, time, and time zone of your appointments, and details of the services or modalities you're interested in.
- Health and intake information — details you share with us about your medical history, current health conditions, medications, and past experience with these modalities, which we use to screen for contraindications and prepare safely for your session. This may include notes taken during or after a ceremony.
- Signed forms — waivers, consent forms, and other documents you sign electronically before a ceremony.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and remind you about appointments.
- Evaluate whether a modality is appropriate for you based on your health information.
- Send you appointment-related texts and emails, including confirmations, reminders, and changes.
- Maintain client records for continuity of care.
- Comply with applicable legal or recordkeeping obligations.
We do not use your health information for advertising, and we do not sell your information to anyone.
How We Share Your Information
We rely on a small number of trusted third-party service providers to run our booking system, send appointment emails and text messages, and collect electronic signatures on waivers and consent forms. These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their function (for example, your name and phone number to send a reminder text) and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
We do not share your health or intake information with anyone outside of providing your care, except where required by law, to protect someone's safety, or with your explicit permission.
Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Client records and health information are stored in a system that is only accessible to the practitioner through an authenticated login. Signed waivers and consent forms are stored privately and are never made available through a public link — access requires an authenticated admin session. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain client and health information for as long as needed to provide ongoing care, maintain accurate records, and meet any applicable recordkeeping obligations. You may ask us to delete your information at any time, as described below.
Your Rights and Choices
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop receiving non-essential communications from us, by contacting us using the information below. We will respond to reasonable requests promptly, though we may need to retain certain records where required by law.
Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “effective date” above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
